A Pelvic ureteric Junction is a tube between the renal pelvis and ureter. In Pelvic ureteric junction obstruction or PUJO , Our kidneys make urine faster than the drainage capacity. And some of it always remains in the renal pelvis and ureter swelling our kidneys due to excess causing the blockage of UPJ tube. It blocks only one kidney and that too partial.

ultrasound. And if the problem persists we do repeated ultrasounds to check on the
conditions of the kidney..Bun Test- In Bun test, we perform the blood urea nitrogen test. This determines the
working condition of the kidney and its blood blood filtration capability.Nuclear renal scan- This test is performed after the baby’s birth. We use radioactive
material to perform the test. This is visible on camera as coloured area and shows the
condition of the kidney.Pyeloplasty- For infants we do the pyeloplasty surgery. Here UPJ is removed and
reattached with renal pelvis. The new opening is wider for the proper drainage of urine.Laparoscopic pyeloplasty- At our clinic robots perform the surgery under the guidance of
