A Lifetime Dedicated to Children's Health

Dr. Sujit Chowdhary FRCS, is a Pediatric Urologist, President of the Asia-Pacific Association of Pediatric Urologists (APAPU), and Founder President of Society of Pediatric Robotic Surgeons & Clinical Director of (Pediatric Sciences) at Apollo Hospital, New Delhi. He is an alumnus of AFMC and PGI Chandigarh and is board certified in Pediatric Urology by ESPU (Europe) and SPU (USA). During his fellowship, he was awarded the prestigious Guy Baines Registrars Medal by the British Association of Urologists in 1996.

He joined the faculty of the Post Graduate Institute at Chandigarh in 1996, and was appointed as an Associate Professor & examiner for the FRCS in 2003, before moving to Apollo Hospital New Delhi. This team has established the premier robotic Paediatric urology program in Asia Pacific and has been awarded the first prize in various scientific sessions of the annual meeting of the Indian Association of Pediatric Surgeons.

The centre has been accredited for post graduate training by the National Board of Examination and started a Post Doctoral fellowship programme in Pediatric Urology (Intuitive, USA). He has been Guest faculty for the American Urology Association, Asia Pacific Urology Association, South African Association of Pediatrics, and over 100 national meetings of IAP, USI, ASI, and IAPS.

He has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers in international and national journals with over 700 citations. He has written chapters for international reference textbooks in Pediatric urology and serves as a reviewer for the most prestigious American & British journals, including Pediatrics (USA), Journal of Urology (USA), British Journal of Urology, and Journal of Pediatric Surgery (USA), in addition to several Indian journals.
